GB Athlete Kristian Thomas visits St. Luke's

Pupils enjoyed an exciting visit by GB Athlete Kristian Thomas who visited school promoting 'Sports for Schools' ,an organisation who inspire school aged pupils.

Kristian gained fame as part of the GB team that famously won Olympic Bronze in London 2012. As Team Captain, he led the GB squad for the Olympic Games in Rio. Kristian helped the team finish 4th, and made the individual floor final.

During his visit, Kristian worked with all of our pupils from Year 1 to Year 6 on a range of activities designed to raise the enjoyment and profile of sport.

We were thrilled to host Kristian and hope that our pupils enjoyed their day with a real life living Olympic Athlete.
