Marking 100 Years since the end of WWI
During the past week, pupils have turned their thoughts to the pain endured by those who fought in the Great War and conflicts around our World.
Every pupil has made a poppy which have been combined to form a special display - helping us set the scene for our Remembrance activities.
Poetry has been written, Art work has been created as pupils attempt to appreciate the horror, turmoil and pain which millions of people faced around the world during WWI and other battles during the past and most recent years.
Our Remembrance Worship with members of the Staffordshire Regimental Association was a very moving and poignant opportunity to reflect on the past, thanking God for the presence and seeking his guidance as we move into the future. With poems, prayers and our traditional silence, we marked this most important day here at St. Luke's
