Official Opening of our American Diner !

And so after a little while of using our new 'Diner', we officially opened our 1950's American Diner during the day. After all of the contractors have left, we have new flooring, new artwor, new acrylic protection on walls, redecoration, new lighting........

We invited our designer Owen Thomas back to school and he 'cut the ribbon' marking the official opening of our themed dining room.

Along with pupils, staff and a proud Mum, Owen proudly launched the future of dining here at St. Luke's.

Pupils enjoyed an American Diner themed lunch complete with Crispy Chicken, Curly Fries, Corn on the Cob, Onion Rings and for dessert pupils had Waffles or Pancakes and Ice-Cream....not forgetting fresh Strawberry Milkshake too :)

Many thanks to Mrs Hartshorne and her fantastic team for their hard work serving well over 350 meals today and a word of thanks to Miss Schofield and Miss Williams for decorating the Diner and Hall so well !
