Prayer & Worship Circle visit St. Thomas' Church

During the new term, our Prayer & Worship Circle have visited St. Thomas' Church to meet a Stained Glass Window artist and witness the installation of a new window.

Pupils from our Prayer & Worship Circle have begun to meet to discuss our acts of Collective Worship and how we pray and praise God.

The visit to St.Thomas' gave our pupils first hand experience of how stained glass windows are designed, created and fitted. Our pupils even ad the opportunity to make their own Stained Glass Windows which they brought back to school.

Pupils learned how the early Stained Glass Windows were created to 'tell stories' from the Bible for many people who may have not been able to read many years ago.
