Race for Life Success !

A great afternoon at St. Luke's and many thanks for pupils, parents, staff and School Governors too !

As you may be aware, some weeks ago, Mrs Nation, one of our parents approached Mr Miles about an idea of staging our own Race for Life.

Well, since Mr Miles is known for running around a lot - both in and outside school, he thought it was a great idea.

So the plan was hatched.....contact made to Cancer Research, letters distributed, medals and sponsor forms received and the images below share the fun we all had running for 3km around our school grounds.

Special thanks to Mr Wood and Mr Leadbeater for the inflatable finish line and of course our catering team led by Mrs Hartshorne for refreshments and ice-creams!

Many thanks to you all for running, walking or simply supporting !

Please ensure sponsor monies are sent into school no later than Monday 18th June 2018.
