St Luke's All Stars are WINNERS !

Following a stellar performance showcasing a polished, stunning routine, our Allstars Cheerleading team recently won the Staffordshire Moorlands schools cheerleading competition at Fenton Leisure Centre in Stoke.  The girls only had six sessions to learn their new routine which incorporated some amazing lifts and gymnastic tumbles.  Their hard work and commitment is a credit to them and exemplifies the ethos of our school - believe, achieve, succeed. 

This was certainly a team performance to remember and thanks are due to everyone who came to support them and to Gill Booth-Lyons for her great choreography and Miss Dewsberry for her help with the cheerleading lifts.  Thanks also to Zoe Hart from the Staffordshire Moorlands team for organising such a fun competition and to the professional cheerleaders who judged the competition.  A great group of girls from Year 4 and Year 6 and a great achievement.
