World Book Day Success

As you will be aware, we celebrated our World Book Day in a different way this year by inviting pupils to create characters using a Potato.

This idea, although understandably a tad controversial for a few......was embraced by the many and what a fantastic event and celebration of Book Characters have we had.....

From Mr Men to Harry Potter, Mr Wonker to The Twits.......we were overwhelmed by the artistic and creative ways which potatoes were used,

Our Winners were announced in school during the day. It certainly was a difficult decision!

Can we say many thanks to our wonderful parents and carers who embraced this great creative idea !
