Year 3 meet the Croods ! :)

Our Year 3 pupils had a fun filled day on Monday exploring life for Stone Age Man and woman too....!    Our friends from 'Time-Zone' treated our pupils to a day full of finding all about living in Stone Age Britain, clothing that people wore, the foods they ate and how they lived.
Highlights of the day included:
-Using Stone Age tools to grind grain and to drill holes
-Making felt and using wool in clothing
-Using the bones of animals as shovels and needles and best of all - Iron Age Fighting!!!
Our pupils really benefitted from their experience.
